@etiennevanempel was our top-finisher in Veenendaal-Veenendaal Classic (21st). The Dutch rider competed in the final sprint, but the competition was tough with riders like Groenewegen (today’s winner). Tomorrow we go again: Antwerp Port Epic!

China Glory Cycling rider @etiennevanempel won in Woensdrecht, The Netherlands, yesterday, solo, on his brand new Pardus bike.

It was his first race on the Pardus. What a great (head) start of something beautiful 🥰!

After a battle of 200 laps, it was Honig - ninefold national champion stayering now - who claimed the Dutch national title.

Both riders will be racing for China Glory Cycling in 2022, helping the new, Chinese generation entering in the European racing scene.

On Sunday night we saw Reinier Honig and Etienne van Empel fighting it out in the velodrome in Alkmaar for the national title ‘stayering’ on the track.

On paper, it would be a big fight between the two China Glory Cycling riders for the title, and that is exactly what happened.

But still in my case you don’t see the pedals of my bike spinning while it travels across the road, just as the numbers from my Assioma pedals in my strava file say. No cadence during or after my crash. Last push 367W 98rpm.
