LSP8 creator assets are not just NFTs with nicer metadata.
The next creator app should not treat the wallet as a checkout button. A creator relationship has more state than that: identity, access, editions, metadata, fan history, event context, permissions, and the ability to update or revoke things later.
That is where LUKSO's account model gets interesting:
- Universal Profile can be the creator identity, not just an address
- LSP8 assets can carry richer metadata than a static marketplace row
- LSP6 permissions can gate access without rebuilding the whole account model per app
- collectors can keep context across apps instead of starting from zero every time
The practical difference is simple. A drop should not die when the mint page is over. The asset should still know what it represents, who issued it, what it unlocks, and which profile is allowed to act on it later.
Crypto keeps trying to make users learn more wallet jargon. The better path is making the account, asset, and relationship feel like one surface.

Imagine a simple scenario:
A user scans an NFC tag or QR code with their iPhone.
A Digital Product Passport instantly opens.
The product’s authenticity, ownership, warranty status, and history can all be verified.
The entire experience is connected to a user’s identity through a LUKSO Universal Profile.
In this model, blockchain operates quietly in the background.
The user only sees a simple, intuitive, and secure experience.
In my opinion, this is exactly how Web3 reaches mass adoption:
Less complexity.
Better user experience.
Stronger digital identity.
More trustworthy digital ownership.
If Apple is the gateway to the experience,
LUKSO could become the infrastructure layer for Web3 identity.
This post reflects my personal opinion only.
For years, many people have been waiting for Apple to take a more active role in the crypto space, yet we still have not seen a full-scale move from them into the industry.
Yes, the probability may be extremely small—perhaps even 0.01%—but I would genuinely love to see Apple take its first meaningful step into this space through a collaboration or interoperability initiative involving LUKSO.
Whether it ever happens or not is another question entirely. But from a vision perspective, the combination of Apple’s user experience and LUKSO’s digital identity and ownership infrastructure would be fascinating to see.
