This is exactly how extremism is born.

When humans become incapable of accepting that others may make different choices within the boundaries of the same religion.

Take Boko Haram for example:

Islam encourages the pursuit of beneficial knowledge, even if it requires traveling long distances. Nowhere did the Qur'an and hadith restrict pursuit of knowledge to only Islamic knowledge. As long as it benefits humanity, then it has value.

Yet some people decide that if it is not islamic knowledge, then it is haram. They then declare war on anyone who disagrees, despite the fact that taking an innocent life is among the gravest sins in Islam.
They don't mind using a clear haram to fight something that was never haram in the first place.

Your post follows this same pattern.

Yes, we agree Polygyny is permissible in islam but it's not obligatory. It's supposed to be a form of worship, not enjoyment.

In fact, judging from all the clauses and conditions attached to it, it's quite obvious that it is not encouraged, further showing that it is a responsibility, not a reward.

And because Allah is Just, He gave women choices too, including the right to leave a marriage they no longer wish to remain in.

What amazes me is how most northern Nigeria men are determined to make compulsory what Allah left optional, and then shame others for exercising rights that Allah Himself granted them.

That is not piety Abu Jawad and you should apologise except you have no shame or fear of Allah.
