@_leulan I saw the video on TikTok and people were commenting that he was their classmate in high school. I hope he gets the support he needs and his life is turned around.
@deepnthetrenche@FanosMarkets@flyethiopian Some ET staff will say "የኛን ደም መጦ ነው" ... On a serious note It is the pride of ours that continues to grow continuously and may it continue to do so while compensating it's staff appropriately!
@happyhewi Read & enjoyed every bit of it remenecing of the days neighbours had such an influence on how children are brought up. Makes sense why she started from the Sefer she grew up in as it shaped her. Eagerly await her 2nd & 3rd book. Wish someone writes about my neighbours like that
@bobomaheder@Sileshiyilma Some creation believers feel Lucy and others prove Ethiopia is where Adam & Eve came to earth. I acknowledge we have wonderful weather but people who visit Ethiopia during the rainy season complain 'it is not as advertised'. I don't think either slogan does Ethiopia justice FYI.
@bobomaheder@Sileshiyilma ... changed a lot over the years (shifted to people, culture, and sustainablity) and Ethiopia has a lot to offer in those aspects land of origin (mankind, coffee and the Nile) makes more sense to cater to the current tourist.
@bobomaheder@Sileshiyilma From what I remember ... Sand Sea and Sun were the three S of mass tourism a while back. So when they coined '13 months of sunshine' they were catering to it and adding the unique Ethiopian calendar. So the argument goes, Since the tourism industry has changed a lot (1/n)
@ec0n1st Would be nice to know what percentage of them came for a meeting. And also how many of them are Ethiopians who have since changed their citizenship.
The world needs 44 million more teachers to achieve quality education for all.
On #WorldTeachersDay & every day, let's amplify teachers' voices and ensure they are heard and valued in the decision-making processes that shape their profession. https://t.co/62BvQEzXi9
