👇Edinburgh University students will not stop until divestment is achieved. We will not be complicit in the destruction of Gaza anymore. We will live to see a free Palestine.
The ball is in the University Court.
‼️UK LAWYERS FOR ISRAEL: 'Lawfare' against the University of Edinburgh‼️
READ: UoE governance, VP Mathieson repeatedly bowing to pressure from an unregulated Zionist lobby group.
Not sure the magnitude of this is fully understood: Israel has wiped out 2,700 families in Gaza, leaving 6,000+ people as the sole survivors of entire bloodlines. This is the result of deliberate policy, pursued with full knowledge of its effects. This is not war. It is genocide.
In Palestine there is NO ceasefire, NO peace, only destruction and the violence of ethnic cleansing.
Watching world leaders play “let’s pretend” with the light-heartedness of 4th graders playing Lego is sickening. We will all pay for their complicity & the insecurity it is sowing

With their actions and omissions, third states have enabled the oppression of the Palestinian people and their genocide.
Those states have an obligation to stop their complicity and deliver justice.
And We The People, have to make it happen.
🎥 FILM SCREENING THIS FRIDAY
Join us for a screening of Ghost Hunting (2017, dir. Raed Andoni), a documentary about Palestinian political prisoners held in Israeli detention.
Friday the 24th of October, 4-6pm, in Old College teaching room 5.
As Israelis prepare to receive hostages, Palestinians in Gaza are met with with rubble while Israeli officials continue to negotiate which Palestinian detainees to release, noting Israel has more than 14,000 Palestinians imprisoned in torture chambers.
Meanwhile in the West Bank, Israeli army and armed Israeli militias intensify closures of Palestinian towns and villages while attacking Palestinian farmers as they attempt to harvest olives (it is olive harvest).
Accountability measures are yet to be discussed in terms of Israel committing genocide and crimes against humanity.
RALLY ON TUESDAY‼️🇵🇸
Edinburgh University is still funding the weapons used against Palestinians in violation of the ceasefire. It still supports an entity illegally occupying Palestinian land. Our fight will not end until the University divests entirely.
HUNDREDS OF EDINBURGH STUDENTS SHOW UP FOR PALESTINE! 🇵🇸
Yesterday, the 7th of October 2025, we entered the third year of Israel's genocide in Gaza. Despite Mathieson and Starmer's shameless attempts at discouraging solidarity with Palestinians, hundreds showed up to our rally.
The Israeli military offensive aimed at taking control of Gaza is still ongoing, though at a slower pace.
Troops advance at night using bulldozers and armored vehicles, placing explosive devices across several neighborhoods as part of a systematic destruction of what remains of Gaza City.
Every day, dozens of civilians are killed or injured, while rescue teams are unable to reach them due to the ongoing bombardment and collapsed infrastructure.
Israeli forces attacked Doctors Without Borders workers—who were all wearing marked medical vests.
They killed Omar, a 42-year-old occupational therapist and sole provider for his family.
He was killed at a bus stop, on his way to take care of other people bombed by Israel.
Join us at 4pm on October 7th for a talk dismantling the two state ‘solution,’ starting with the Oslo Accords until the present day.
📍 3.01, Lister Learning Centre
Please sign the open letter demanding that Edinburgh University acknowledge and protect its student Mina, and ends its complicity in the genocide. Solidarity to the Flotilla 🇵🇸
