@MarathonDevTeam So, why should anyone do upper complex now that the loot is shit? Do you realize that is the only new endgame content in game for the season? You should have turned off sponsored mode instead. Craddle XP nerf is so moronic I'm not even gonna explain why.
Destiny 2 was not a failure.
Destiny is—was—by all measures, one of the most resounding successes in its field, and its end is a consequence of its management, not the game itself, nor the team and community that propped it up time and time again, or the vision that fueled it.
Destiny was a pioneer of the live-service formula. It was one of the earliest games of the 2010s to try to deliver constant goods, whether they took the form of missions, new loot rewards, or skins, to a console audience.

Below is the typical outcome of an exam session for a STEM university course in Italy 🇮🇹.
Seven students were admitted to the oral exam, where the pass mark is 18. Among them, three are underwater, three are floating around the pass mark, and one is halfway to what in Britain people call a C or B.
The other fifty who took the written test scored so low that they will not be admitted to the oral.
Leaving aside that in Britain the pass mark is 12, this very typical exam outcome is due to the persistence of the millenary tradition that university exams exist only to select the next wave of academics, and that failing 95% of your students does not mean a professor should be ignominiously fired, as they clearly couldn’t teach their students well enough.
@SaltagreppoD2 They can do whatever, as long as they write a great story for the new saga, whenever it happens, IF it eventually happens. The fate saga could easily be a minor plot line of the new story, it was a transition story after all.
@SaltagreppoD2 I agree on principle, but I understand their point of view, that this case had too much attention, that they needed to act, and in a way that would satisfy the community, because they can't afford to lose its trust and, you know, trust ...is a frail thing!
@hsaholic I mean...that kinda looks like a runner seen from the front, fast running, mid run animation the left arm could actually be his right arm pushed to the back and the right arm is actually his rifle in his left arm
@not4eels@vesseloftauceti FORWARD is the key word man, you know why? because they respected the rules, and if anyone did the same thing IN THE FUTURE they would be breaking the new rule. Like, is it that hard to understand?
@not4eels@vesseloftauceti I'm kinda tired of repeating myself, last try, and if you still don't get it, I give up: Their actions are not against Bungie's rules on cheating, bungie specifically stated that oobs and glitches are not cheating and will not get you banned. Only external software is cheating.
@not4eels@vesseloftauceti "but that doesn't absolve the players who cheated of their actions." no, but their actions not being against bungie's rules does. You can think whatever you want about the man, I despise him too, but if you think he has to be banned for cheating you do not understand rules.
@not4eels@vesseloftauceti "At the end of the day it's cheating, by textbook definition." It isn't, and there is no textbook, it is cheating by your opinion, it's different. By Bungie's rules it isn't cheating. That's why they are changin them, instead of banning him. You'll have to accept this, eventually
@liminalMarch@vesseloftauceti Insulted, made up stuff, refused to aknowledge facts and actual rules, than blocked me in order to stop me from answering. This is the scum that advocates for a permaban. Laughable , spineless, pathetic.
@not4eels@vesseloftauceti "It is widely accepted that this kind of behavior is cheating." Oh i see, you think that your feelings and delusions are worth more than actual rules.
Yea, there is no debate here, you won.
