Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is the leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra, in June 2021 he was kidnapped in Kenya where he had travelled on a private visit, he was tortured for eight days in a private home in Kenya and was later brought to Nigeria illegally.

In 2017, September the Nigerian army invaded his family home in his home town Afaraukwu Ibeku in Abia State and over 28 people were killed mostly his visitors. He was evacuated and he escaped to Israel and later to the UK. His aged parents died because of the trauma of the invasion they suffered.

2022 October 23rd the Appeal court in Abuja Nigeria discharged and acquitted him but rather than release him the Nigerian government have continued to hold and detain him in the DSS dungeon illegally with an unknown law.

The only crime Mazi Nnamdi Kanu committed is that he asked for a Referendum for the #Biafranpeople to determine their future in Nigeria.
