@DigestAndroid@anilpirwanii Sounds like a skill issue to me. If you know how to accelerate but not brake, you should probably not be near a car.
Google is planning to scam the gullible and you're literally shilling on their behalf.
@anilpirwanii@DigestAndroid These Googlebooks are basically clones of similarly priced and specced Windows machines that have a full fledged OS. And that is the problem.
I'm sure you're someone who buys Adibas for the price of Adidas.
@kyuu47427@kopite7kimi I doubt that. 48 MB cache per CCD and 12 full cores.
I'm not sure of the influence of 4 extra cores but that additional 16 MB cache should bring in some improvements.
This is gonna be the generation that is probably gonna tell us if more cores do actually matter for gaming.
@Alpha72188850@lafaiel MS is busy doing a ton of things. They have to maintain the OS for x86, manage different software suites, run Xbox business, etc etc.
QC is basically a chipmaker; had one job. Failed at it miserably. They've been trying and trying with MS since the 835 days. Still no luck.
@anilpirwanii@DigestAndroid Remember, supercars can be used for commutes (browsing) too.
You're actually reinforcing my analogy by actually agreeing the use of cloud gaming/streaming over native gaming using web/local network instead of utilizing the actual hardware.
@Alpha72188850@gr_roman1770@ExoticSpice101 Clockspeeds is the bruteforce way when the IPC improvement hits a wall.
Both are within the margin of error TBH, while the SD part runs higher clocks. That actually makes it the worse chip in terms of architecture.
@DigestAndroid Also afaik, you have similarly or slightly higher priced options from similar specs but with a fully functional Windows operating system.
