Nalik Microcredit provides financing to start-ups. 🇪🇺 will give Nalik a €1 million grant enabling support to even more companies.

I fully agree with Prime Minister Egede on the need to show that the values-based 🇪🇺🇬🇱 partnership delivers, especially during times of geopolitical turmoil.

We had a good discussion on the “emerging” sectors – mining, tourism and energy – which could transform their economy.

I was meant to visit Ilulissat 🇬🇱, but due to the weather never made it there… Just a reminder of the Arctic conditions!

Instead, I got to see the Nuuk Fjord and touch 🧊 that has been around for thousands of years.

It’s up to us to preserve this beauty and unique ecosystems.

Education has been the focus of 🇪🇺-Greenland cooperation since 2006.

👍👍 for 🇬🇱 for developing a truly modern education system. I got to witness the results at the Atuarfik Hans Lynge School.

I also visited the Arctic Hub to learn more about the R&I landscape and synergies.

The upcoming EU-Greenland Business Mission is yet another opportunity to enhance business cooperation which benefits both sides.

For 🇪🇺 companies, 🇬🇱 offers a politically stable environment with projects that meet the highest ESG standards.

The private sector is a crucial part of #GlobalGateway.

🇪🇺 is eager to support partners like Greenland to diversify their economy and use their natural resources sustainably. 

I was pleased meet representatives of 🇬🇱 private and banking sector and discuss enabling environment.
