What crappy publicity is this? Are u telling me the author enabled the overemphasis of a supposedly MINOR ARC in TRIE & let Sevi get a 2nd lead? Kala ko hindi, kaya CITW was heavily edited? Or are these artists mindlessly slandering the characters? Which is which bec I’m TIRED

@gnehs1721 Yes, kaso TRIE book itself has minimal presence of Arkin so ig kaya ganun yung cast. For me it’s more on how the plot was laid out lang talaga, na umpisa pa lang binuild up na talaga si Sevi as THE guy best friend of all tapos Arkin’s more built as Via’s half/Sevi’s best friend

Also Arkin not getting casted despite supposedly being part of the squad brings more weight to my opinion that he’s written just to be Via’s half while Sevi gets all the hype to be THE best boy of the squad… to the point of losing his unique identity as a partner 🧐

@yeonilogs Yup, it was the 1st of her series so it’s understandable that there were some plot loopholes. Kaso, movie viewers can be different from book readers/areums, so my only hope is that mabuo pa rin yung kwento without forgetting Arkin as squad and without forcing a 2nd lead kay Sevi.

Notice how Arkin’s there only when it’s related to Via (& Sevi in CITW), but he has loose dynamics w/ the rest of the squad. Meanwhile Sevi’s pushed as THE best guy friend across books na halos same lang treatment nya w/ squad & Elyse, except the s3x… that’s just the plot 🤷🏻‍♀️

So basically my rant here is just to manifest at the very least na lang CITW special chapters that could address that issue hehe kbye 🤪

And admit it or not, the root cause is the way he was depicted in TRIE esp in the Tagaytay timeline. Wala na magagawa cause this is published, but CITW could’ve been improved w/ added scenes of actual actions adult Sevi did to differentiate. Hindi yung sabi lang ni college Sevi

Won’t forget how Hiro & Shan were super friendly to their girl squad too, but u could clearly see their unique & special treatment to their partners ~aside from sex~. Adult Sevi, on the other hand, barely shows the difference of being THE boy best friend & Elyse’s partner 🥲
