It says a lot about the value of the Supportive Conversations training the @Faculty_HCS developed in the midst of the pandemic when the COO of a busy acute NSH Trust makes the time to attend! Peer supporters trained in Supportive Conversations making a huge difference in @UHSFT.
@JoeTeape @UHSFT@SotonChildHosp Thank you @JoeTeape for making the time to attend our training and for demonstrating your appreciation of the fantastic work our volunteer Safe Space Practitioners are doing to support colleagues in the Trust @UHSFT. We are now a 150+ strong community and growing! @Faculty_HCS

Hi everyone
Just want to say – I’ve seen quite a few people with Covid 19 since Sunday.
Excited to launch #BehaviourChange Development Framework to support workforce development. Aiming to support consistent behaviour change skills which are appropriate and proportionate to service user needs. https://t.co/44pjntss0U @NHS_HealthEdEng @PHE_uk @BSPHNetwork
I cannot tell you how pleased and proud I feel for this @UHSFT @RDsouthampton @WesFit_trial team to have their hard work recognised in this way. I'm sorry everyone else but they truely deserve to win 😁
I just love the NHS and in particular people @UHSFT. Credit to Diane Abraham and the performance team at the Eye Unit, Southampton General. A picture says more than a thousand words. Merry NHS Christmas to all.
Interesting paper about how our brains lock out connection between 'self' and 'death'. If this is so, how can we support people to think and talk about and plan for a good death?🤔

@ExOncTc Great conference. Thank you guys for bringing together people from all over the Globe without harming the environment. I learned so much and met kindred spirits, sitting on my sofa! 🤣 Looking forward to @ExoncTC 2020.
@winters_stone @ExOncTc @KLCampbellPhD In the @WesFit_trial we test our hypothesis from previous work that transferring control from a supervising professional to the pts and increasing pt self-efficacy to plan & enact unsupervised PA, & develop strategies to maintain PA will enable pts long-term unsupervised PA.
@krcov 💗 Love mine too. What really does it for me is seeing patients feeling in control and enjoying themselves whilst preparing for cancer surgery. Can you imagine...??😀
@cindycforbes@ExOncTc@WesFit_trial Thanks Cindy. We were intent to do stop and adapt had we found we needed any major change but we didn't have to. Our design is pragmatic to support future service development and this helped.
@AinsleaCross absolutely watching!! which space shall I watch?😄 I am very excited. Maybe you want to come down and talk? we are not doing breast and prostate yet but it would be super to hear about your stuff.
