🇨🇳🤝🇭🇺@FM_Szijjarto announced that global market leader Kontron Electronics is relocating its production from China to Hungary with a HUF 2 billion investment in Pécs. The project, supported by HUF 400 million in government funding, will create 30 new jobs and secure another 300.

🏭 He said this is a major achievement, as Chinese production is being brought to Hungary. The plant will manufacture high tech electronic components and automated control solutions for medical technology, aviation, and robotics, alongside a full service and support chain. 99% of the output will be exported, underscoring the company’s global competitiveness.

⚠️ Minister Szijjártó highlighted that despite years of crises, Hungary has delivered “economic feats,” with record investments, low taxes, and protected utility costs. He stressed that these results depend on security and predictability, adding that Hungarian taxpayers’ money must stay in Hungary to develop the domestic economy, not to finance another country.

During the meeting, topics of mutual interest were reviewed, and ways of cooperation between the Eurasia Research Centre and its counterpart centres in the Kingdom were discussed.
