@NGSS_tweeps I love this idea! This really shows the student’s understanding on a higher level of thinking and has them demonstrate it creatively! They can even come back to it late and use it as a study tool. #EDUC200#02FALL21
As students get more comfortable with the strategy, I'll have them synthesize information from several sources (video, poems, articles) into a single sketchnote. Here's one of my favorite examples from a fifth grade student on decomposers.
Today in class we talked about IEP plans and how they help have difficulty-abled students excel in their education career! It was distressing to learn that all of wasn’t put in place until 1990s #educ200#02Fall21
@Anthonyvalvano8 I was cool to learn about the difference between equity and equality and how it is so important to find a balance between both. Hopefully I can accomplish this in my classroom! #02Fall21#educ200
Today in class we had a cool conversation about what makes summer hill school, summer hill! We talked about how this blank paper did and did not represent the existentialism school :) #EDUC200#02Fall21
@ArianaWilson01 It was really cool to talk about the impact greeting students at the door actually has! I would have never thought that a simple greeting can help someone focus more :) #02Fall21#EDUC200
@TaylorDanse Thanks for sharing! It’s terrible how wealth bleeds into our schools leading to lessening the child’s knowledge. Just cause a child lives in a rough economic situation should not effect their chances to learn! #02Fall21#EDUC200
@LukeArm78348882 I also found meaning at work here! It’s talked about how YNOT has worked on this for years. Them winning made everyone on the team feel like all their work has had a purpose and everyone’s piece came together to make the dream work #EDUC200#02Fall21
@kglobue When reading the article I noticed the google norm of meaning! The coach talked about how they wanted each player to get something out of playing volleyball and make everyone feel good about what they’re doing together. #EDUC200#02Fall21
https://t.co/R6FnDPc1FM This article talked about the google norm of phycological safety. It dove into how if you make everyone feel safe and heard, the team can work more efficiently, along with being more willing to participate! Great read. #EDUC200#02Fall21
