We have already reported on Vice-President Constantino Chiwenga’s remarks at the ZANU-PF annual conference in Chinhoyi. We are now publishing the full transcript of his speech so readers can examine his exact words and draw their own conclusions.
In the address, Chiwenga questioned whether the Second Republic was repeating the mistakes it was established to correct. He called for a “brutal and honest self-appraisal”, insisted that ZANU-PF belongs to the people rather than individuals and warned that change must be driven by the people—not imposed from above.
He also urged leaders to place service above personal ambition, accept criticism and ensure that party resolutions produce measurable improvements in people’s lives.

VP Chiwenga is really on a roll lately 😂. He has been telling his counterparts some uncomfortable truths through his speeches.
Let’s not forget, this is the same guy who brought the word “ZVIGANANDA” back into the streets. 😂🇿🇼
They are trying to move the clock.
But ZANU PF’s own Constitution (Art 6 & 5) says the Conference cannot suspend the 2027 Congress.
A nullity binds no one!!!
