Il naît en 1914, dans la banlieue de Paris, fils de deux immigrés espagnols arrivés sans un sou. L'enfance n'annonce rien : élève médiocre, il enchaîne les petits métiers ratés, toujours congédié.

Pour survivre, il joue du piano la nuit dans les bars. De cette bohème sans avenir lui vient une idée : il sera acteur.

Il s'y met tard, vers trente ans. Mais le cinéma ne veut pas de ce petit homme nerveux au crâne dégarni : rien d'un jeune premier. On lui laisse des silhouettes, des rôles minuscules, un nom jamais inscrit au générique.

Cela dure vingt ans. Vingt années dans l'ombre, à voir filer sa jeunesse sans qu'aucune chance ne vienne.

Puis, à cinquante ans, l'âge où d'autres quittent l'écran, un film le déguise en gendarme ridicule sur la Côte d'Azur. La France éclate de rire. En quelques années, ce raté magnifique devient la plus grande vedette du pays, adoré pour ses grimaces et ses colères.

Ce comédien s'appelait Louis de Funès. Il est né un 31 juillet, comme aujourd'hui, il y a 112 ans.

Un de ses films, La Grande Vadrouille, restera le plus grand succès du cinéma français durant trente ans. Vingt ans d'échecs, puis le sommet : personne n'a autant fait rire la France.

"Congratulations, you’re the first film rated 'S."

She asked, "'S?' For s € x?".

He replied, "No, 'S' for 'Sh!t'".

After the incident, Producer James Glickenhaus fought back and brought the feud public. The MPAA ultimately gave the film an 'X' rating. They refused it and released the movie unrated.

Anthropologist Margaret Mead was once asked by a student what she believed was the very first sign of known civilization. The student expected her to talk about a hatchet, perhaps fishhooks, the bow and arrow...

Possibly a building structure, clay pots or grinding stones and knives.

But no.

Mead said that the first sign of civilization in an ancient culture was a thighbone that had been broken and then healed.

Mead explained that in the animal kingdom, if you break your leg, your timely death is assured.

"You cannot run from danger, get to the river for a drink or hunt for food. You are meat for prowling beasts. No animal survives a broken leg long enough for the bone to heal."

A broken thighbone that has healed is evidence that someone has taken time to stay with the one who fell, has bound up the wound, has carried the person to safety and has tended the person through recovery.

"Helping someone else through difficulty is where civilization starts." Mead said.

We are at our very best when we truly help and serve others.

職場に私物スマホン持ち込み禁止は接客業や女性に限定されないんだが考えてみれば「金のために戻れ」という感覚と一脈通じるものがあるんで自衛のためにコスプレ用のレッグホルスターで保持出来ればスカート着用の人は携帯可能ではないかスカートの下は劇場などではなく倉庫だ奥にも何か入りそうだ

20年以上前ですが、某デパートでバイトしてた時、女性の従業員さん達はこれ使ってました。
やはり接客中は手ぶらの女性が多かったです。
イオンの事故で、この種のルールも見直しになるかもしれないですね。
スマホも家の鍵も持たずに避難して戻るなというのは現実的に無理ですもん。
