I do not agree with Wald’s statement. I think in todays world, recordings aren’t used more often simply because they are more accessible. I think, if given the chance, most people would still jump at the opportunity to see a live band. #POPMUSW22

accessibility. For example, a wedding.
Many would rather hire a live band but
it is much more expensive than just
making a Spotify playlist. If a live band
was as accessible, I think most would

#POPMUSW22 The development of streaming services has had an impact on how I see others. Apple Music allows me to get a glimpse into the lives of others through unique playlists, while getting insight into their lives. It has also given me access to a larger variety of music.

@DanielWNeill1 This is a very good point! We all discuss the convenience/affordability for us as the consumers without considering the impact it has on the artists. Art is often undervalued, but streaming services have definitely caused music to be hit quite harshly compared to other art forms
