Palestinian Officer Captain Ra'fat Abu Shams (Abu Khalil), 45, was beaten to death this afternoon by Israeli occupation forces during his detention at the Anab military checkpoint near Tulkarm.

According to eyewitnesses, Israeli soldiers repeatedly beat him while detained and denied paramedics immediate access to him.

According to the Palestinian Red Crescent, paramedics attempted resuscitation at the scene after he suffered cardiac arrest from the severe beating, but were unable to revive him.

Polresta Sleman menahan MNH atau NH (45) pengajar di ponpes Ash-Asholihah, Jonggrangan, Mlati, Kabupaten Sleman, tersangka pemerkosaan santriwati hingga hamil. Namun santriwati tersebut justru dilaporkan oleh istri MNH atau NH, yaitu BA (31) ke Polda DIY pada Rabu (23/9).

BA melaporkan korban dan NH menggunakan Pasal 411 UU Nomor 1 Tahun 2023 tentang KUHP terkait persetubuhan di luar perkawinan yang sah. Sejumlah barang bukti turut dilampirkan dalam laporan tersebut. Salah satunya berupa percakapan melalui direct message (DM) Instagram antara NH dan korban.

Atas hal ini, kuasa hukum korban, Gusti Rian Saputra menegaskan korban mengaku tidak memiliki perasaan suka kepada NH. Dia juga menyebut NH sebelumnya telah mengakui melakukan pemerkosaan terhadap korban dalam sebuah pemeriksaan di lingkungan pondok pesantren.

Gusti pun menyinggung pernikahan siri antara korban dan NH. Menurut dia, pernikahan tersebut justru semakin merugikan posisi korban.

"Artinya apa? Artinya nikah siri pun, itu mencederai hak-hak perlindungan perempuan, baik itu dia korban pemerkosaan ataupun tidak. Lah ini korban pemerkosaan loh, dipaksa nikah siri. Kan jadi double ya. Sudah dijatuhin tangga, ditimpahi tangga juga. Kan kasihan," kata Gusti saat dihubungi.
