With Castro’s indictment, it’s easy to draw a parallel with the Jan. 3 capture of the indicted Maduro, but there are 3 crucial differences between the Venezuela and Cuba operations:
"Trump had decided Maduro could be safely replaced by Venezuela's vice president Delcy Rodriguez well before the Jan 3rd raid in Caracas." - Delcy gave US assurances she would be their guy after Maduro's removal. Whoever still believes it wasn't an outright betrayal is in denial.
