@isda1979 I have no words. I will say prayers for your heart. Sweet Jesus, please send consolations, healing, hope, love and strength into this beautiful mama’s heart. Mama Mary, you’re a mother too and know the suffering of losing a child, please cover this mama with your mantle of love.
The death of al-Baghdadi is a first step in defeating ISIS. Let’s demand that our leaders, including @JustinTrudeau, never stop fighting this evil and ensuring ISIS is decimated and that the Chaldean/Assyrian and other minority groups in the Middle East are protected.
Today I woke up to the news that Abu Al-Bagdadi has been killed. The man who masterminded the genocidal purging, raping and killing of over a million of my people in Iraq and Syria has been killed.
How many times do we have to say never again! ISIS attacked Assyrian/Chaldean Christians and other minority groups, to the point where there are a fraction of Assyrians/Chaldeans (who are the indigenous people of Iraq and Syria) left in Iraq and Syria today.
We organized this march five years ago, this month, because ISIS was committing ethnic cleansing on the Assyrian/Chaldean, Yazidi and other minority groups in Northern Iraq on an historic and unprecedented scale.

My husband and brother were so honoured to meet him, and excited to finally see Canada’s Raptors in the NBA Finals!
Let’s go Raptors!!
What an exciting time to be a Toronto Raptors fan! Yesterday, my husband and brother had the opportunity to meet and talk with Nav Bhatia, aka Superfan, along with Rana Sarkar, the Consul General of Canada in San Francisco, United States. (See link)

Today we remember the six million Jewish people who were murdered by the Nazis. When you hear the stories of survivors and realize all the incomprehensible suffering and loss of life that occurred throughout Europe, you understand that truly this was a dark period for humanity.
Freedom is not free, you have to be vigilant...you have to remember the atrocities of the past and speak up against the atrocities of the present. You cannot sacrifice truth because some people are going to be uncomfortable with the truth.
