@HistorianHa I think it's cringe to wave national flag in *other country*. I hope that Chinese don't do that.
( Except at international sport events, even then, flags should be small so that it won't interfere with other audience. )
New video released of the illegals t3rrorizing Paris. (Legal) French citizens / passengers of the subway were trapped as they’re attacked by the fighting age men whom President Macron & his husband imported.
Is this what the EU leaders wanted for the first world?
@Copusa4ac4 (1) She didn't look armed.
(2) She didn't look aggressive.
(3) The homeowner could tell her to go via the intercom.
(4) If she still insisted, he could call the police.
Instead he killed her and claimed "self-defense", and the judge / jury agreed...
@Whatis7777777 I'm ABSOLUTELY NO fan of Mao but judging from the anti-China propagandists' track records of exaggerating and downright lying, their claim of "Mao killing tens of millions of Chinese" is bullshit.
Maybe 10+ million *PREMATURE* death due to (un)economic policy is possible thou.
🇯🇵 Japanese player intentionally slams his 🇨🇳 Chinese opponent against the glass wall hard during a squash match, then proceeds to whack the ball towards his opponent from behind.
This should've been an instant disqualification.
What an ugly disgraceful display of sportsmanship
If someone slaps me and I hit them back, that is not fairness.
I had no intention of striking anyone. I was harmed without cause.
Justice therefore cannot mean pretending the initial aggressor and the person forced to respond stand on equal moral ground.
So today, when Japan speaks of "80 years of peace," casts itself exclusively as a victim of the atomic bomb, and accuses Chinese people of refusing to "move on," that is anything but fair.
This is the part Japan still tries to blur with the passage of time.
China did not invade Japan.
Chinese civilians did not choose that war.
They were invaded, massacred, raped, subjected to human experimentation, dispossessed, and killed in a war brought onto their land by Imperial Japan.
Japan, meanwhile, mobilized its society for total war. Schools, workers, families, students, women, and even children were folded into the machinery of war. Japan's own wartime cabinet documents explicitly ordered broad student mobilization for war production and emergency duties.
Japan suffered the consequences of a war it launched.
China suffered because Japan launched it.
Those are not the same thing.
Apology and reparation are obligations of the perpetrator.
Forgiveness is never an obligation of the victim.
Japan does not get to decide when Chinese memory has lasted long enough.
It does not get to say:
We suffered too, therefore the account is closed.
The perpetrator may ask for forgiveness.
The victim alone decides whether to give it.
@BerryPie1997@zhao_dashuai Western propaganda don't need to make sense, their purpose is to condition people into associating China with negative image.
@_linnamon_ I haven't read it, but judging from other similar manga, my hunch is that it will probably depict Japan as some kind of innocent, rational, victimized country, while depicting China as irrational, stupid and belligerent.
