Some PG gameshow is on in the background while I'm working and they ask the married contestant the secret to a good marriage. Contestant says, "Well we BEEP BEEP BEEP..." I look up surprised and there's a thunderstorm warning with PERFECT TIMING. I can't stop laughing 🤣
@JoshuaTorrey Amazing game today, congrats! Isak is something special. He's got what it takes to get the PL Golden Boot. Has Newcastle had that since Schearer? Or maybe Shearer's ones were with Blackburn 🤷🏻♂️ Would be cool! Like this team.
@JoshuaTorrey But can you reaaaaallllly debrief GA without doing it over a pound of smoked meat and homemade tortillas? Come down to the new location in @CityofBudaTX and I'd be happy to buy you a brisket taco or two 🤘
Wow, on the day of our 11th straight title. Albeit BVB bottled it, but still. Die Roten the most demanding club I know. Wild finish today. Bundesliga champs!

@JoshuaTorrey Somewhat of a non sequitur, but Bus Driver by Caedmon's Call still gets my eyes all watery. Hope it goes well for your old driver; they're doing beautiful work.
@hillaryvipond Would love to hear ideas on this because I want the same so bad but the business model is the hard part. Cost of ebooks for libraries are frustratingly high. The "for libraries" part is the key, or really anywhere the ebook is for >1 user (whether simultaneous or not).
2/ This isn't a new idea; I know everyone likes to dunk on the news and I know the blame lies with both news makers and news consumers. But it makes me think, what topics do I hold a strong opinion on while working out of bad or anemic info?
1/ Watching national news botch subjects in which you are a professional is deflating. Also begs the question how many topics over the years folks are getting bad intel on by only getting half the story when reporters go for piquing interest over rounded info.
