Thank You so much my ever-dependable guide and senior partner, Precious Holy Ghost
This journey began as a burning hunger for personal growth and leadership development last year 2025.
Creating for myself and generation that household name. And I can only but pat myself at the back with a great sigh of relief, "Efa, well done." "You are doing well." "You deserve all the wins." "It's now paying well."
But I never complained. I showed up early at all times, ready always and with so much grace and candour.
Unknown to me, I was being watched by the Executive Director and the Board members. Today, I have risen again, one step closer to becoming that woman.
Many sleepless nights, drafting program documents, following up with state leaders on their delivery, attending meetings online and offline here and there, mixing that with my job and motherhood.
But, No, I defied the odds. I carried the extra weight. This was important for my growth. I am in training, though it was quite a hectic responsibility.
I took up the opportunity, jumped at it with so much excitement, even though I had too many other things I was doing that could have been a very good excuse not to embrace the opportunity.
Fast forward, in November 2025, I graduated as a fellow with two outstanding awards, and that earned me a place in the leadership. I was appointed the National Programs Coordinator (Nigeria) for the fellowship.
I only sent him the notification of my acceptance into the fellowship with a thank you message. At that point, I told him I had seen his update and maximized the opportunity.
Destiny brought this opportunity my way through my forward-thinking friend Emmanuel-Clark Ukpo Onwuka. At the time, Emma didn't even know I saw his WhatsApp status post and I had applied.
