the false sense of authority over someone else's life, the entitlement, and this whole parasocial relationship are literally clouding yalls brain to make a sound judgement. yall dont have his best interest at heart bc it's all about what YOU want.
theres no proper way for him to exit kasi regardless of what he chose to follow, hahanapan niyo ng mali. you're a fan, hindi mo alam yung complexities ng contract nila. walang may alam kung hanggang kailan contracts ng mga yan. it's just that vague 7 year contract.
The proper way for him to exit was at least wait for the contracts to end and at least have some proper closure for the group and the fans. Pero ano? He left the group mid promotions then disappeared. Let the group absorb all the shock and tensions from the fans-
would you even treat him a differently if he 'finished the contract' none of you even fcking knows about? if he debuted solo while still being in the group, would yall stop calling him greedy and selfish? i fcking highly doubt that.

ill always believe that whatever energy you put out in the world, it's all gonna come right back at you. if you treat people with so much hatred that orchestrating hate trains towards them is giving you so much satisfaction, you're gonna suffer the same but worse. stay safe! 🩷
karma is real yall. you can continue being nasty and ruin his character based on your assumptions but it's not gonna go unnoticed. months or years from now may balik yan kaya wait lang kayo 🫶🏼
this is gonna be a long read, but i hope people who have been asking for evan to speak up would read this without malice. everything below is my interpretation, not his words.
“when you tell me something wrong, baby you’re right”
if people actually listened to his songs, they might understand why evan hasn’t felt the need to publicly correct people he once believed would still embrace him. my interpretation is that his silence is a form of respect. instead of challenging what they choose to believe or say, he lets people feel what they want to feel while he tells his own truth through his songs.
“can’t send you this letter, but i still try to write
we’ll meet again, i know, just think about us, i won’t let you go”
my interpretation of these lines is that they’re something he wanted to say to the people who once embraced him. he may be in a different situation now, but the love he has for them never really disappeared.
not because he expects those letters to reach the people they were meant for, but because the feelings behind them are still real. writing becomes his way of preserving those emotions, honoring the memories he shared with them, and expressing what he can no longer say directly. even if the letters remain unsent, they’re still worth writing, it’s still worth hoping. and that leads to the next lyrics.
“we’ll meet again, i know, just think about us” feels like a quiet hope rather than a request. it’s almost as if he’s saying, “just remember what we had.” after sharing such a significant part of his life with them, those memories are still precious to him, and he hopes they’ll remember them too.
what stands out to me the most is that he says, “i won’t let you go,” not “we won’t let go.” to me, that choice is important. he can only speak for himself. he knows his own feelings and chooses to hold onto those memories dearly, but he can’t and won’t expect or ask the other person to feel the same. that’s why i see his silence as a form of respect. instead of correcting them or trying to change how they remember the past, he quietly tells his side through his music and leaves the rest up to them.
so for the people who can no longer hold him dearly, and who continue to ruin his character in search of validation for their own version of the truth, i hope you’ll listen to his songs.
my interpretation is that he doesn’t want to correct every misunderstanding or defend himself against every narrative. instead, he chooses to speak through his music, hoping that the people who once knew him will remember him for who he truly is.
and if, after everything, the version of him you’ve chosen to believe bears no resemblance to the person he has always shown himself to be, then maybe you never really knew him at all. if so, please let him go.

We are issuing this statement to denounce Belift Lab for maintaining biased management practices and a deceptive 'coexistence' policy.
+when the younger 6 are developing and becoming individuals that shine equally but differently so. it works well in certain gps when all members' priority is THE group. but for HS, who wants to show himself, over the gp, it must've been difficult for him. his stans & ot7s+ (2/3)
@baeitsnamu that's not even a question lol. that's a baseless assumption being presented like it's a fact by using a part of the docu that she doesn't even fully understand. hirap kasi sa inyo puro kayo assume just to fit a narrative yall have created in ur heads

i understand the literacy issue is global, but how did you guys manage to twist his words into “oh, he wasn’t happy during those years”?
i’m going to use his exact words:
“back in my trainee days, there was a stretch where i was improving fast. back then i felt this huge sense of accomplishment and happiness. i felt exactly that yesterday.”
he was referring to the day he felt like his whole body is a wreck, completely exhausted from preparing for his solo debut.
how do you hear that from someone you supposedly supported (if you did) and somehow conclude, “those years meant nothing to him” or “he’s so ungrateful”?
he wasn’t saying he was unhappy before. he was saying he experienced that same feeling of rapid growth again.
maybe that’s hard to understand if you’ve never experienced genuinely loving your work, enjoying the people around you, and still wondering, “i’m happy here, but am i still growing? am i still learning? is this the fullest expression of what i’m capable of?”
those aren’t mutually exclusive feelings. you can be grateful for where you are while questioning whether you’ve stopped growing.
if that concept feels foreign to you, then i understand why you can’t grasp what heeseung was talking about.
but if you can’t grasp it, at least have the decency to stop rewriting his words and painting him as someone who’s ungrateful for everything he experienced with the group. that’s your projection, not what he said.
