Our government should work for the people, not the other way around. Governor Kemp and Republicans cut millions out of the state budget that was reserved for school buses, homeless veterans and Medicaid dental care in order to give tax cuts to the wealthiest Georgians.
That’s backwards.
I’ll keep fighting to make sure our government invests in working families and stronger communities.

A quick reminder that a portion of I-285 will be closed this weekend from June 5th 7pm through June 8th 5am.
This closure applies to BOTH Northbound and Southbound lanes between Exit 9 & Exit 7. Plan your travel accordingly!
Right now, too many people are being crushed by rising health care costs and high prescription prices. That has to change.
I’m fighting for policies that expand Medicaid and make quality, affordable health care accessible to every Georgian, no matter their income.
Health care is not a luxury. It is a basic right, and I’ll keep working until every family in Georgia can get the care they deserve.
Pride Month is a celebration of courage, community and the ongoing fight for equality. Every single person deserves to feel safe, respected and valued for who they are.
This month, and every month, let’s take time to recognize the LGBTQ+ Georgians who make our communities stronger. Our community is at its best when everyone feels welcome to live openly and authentically.
Happy Pride Month!
As we come to the end of Mental Health Awareness Month, we’re reminded that mental health doesn’t follow a calendar. I want to celebrate the recent passage of the “You Are Not Alone Awareness Act.” This act ensures middle and high school students across our state have direct access to the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline on their school IDs.
I helped support this legislation when it was just a House Bill, and I’m proud to see it become a law. It’s vital our students know that no one has to struggle in silence or face a crisis alone.

Protecting our environment means protecting our people. Our state should lead the way in preserving our natural resources and investing in renewable energy. That’s why I helped put a stop to HB 211, which could have made it harder for communities harmed by the negligent dumping of PFAS chemicals to seek justice in court.
More and more, Atlantans feel like affordable housing is out of reach. The people who built our communities are finding that skyrocketing rents and housing prices are forcing them to make compromises or do without.
We need to make sure that the people who work and live in our districts aren’t priced out of their homes. If we want our city to thrive, we need to create quality, affordable housing options.

Yesterday, our country paused for Memorial Day.
Today, as we return to our routines, I am thinking about the responsibility that remains.
We honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation by remembering them with gratitude, by supporting the families who carry their loss and by living with a deeper appreciation for the freedoms they helped protect.
May we never treat remembrance as a one-day obligation. May we carry it with us in how we serve, how we lead and how we care for one another.
I want to thank everyone who supported me as the Democratic nominee for State House District 57. I’m honored to have the opportunity to continue representing this wonderful community— but our work isn’t over yet. We’re not slowing down until November.
I’m grateful for the trust the people in our district have placed in me and for the chance to fight for them every single day. I’ll continue showing up, speaking out, and delivering results for the people who count on strong leadership.
Let’s get to work!
It's Primary Election Day! Polls are open across District 57 until 7 PM. Head to your polling precinct to vote for economic dignity and education. If you're in line at 7 PM, you can still vote! #gapol#staceyevansforga https://t.co/gjz399hUiR
Election Day is TOMORROW, and I would be honored to have your vote to continue serving as your State Representative. Polls are open from 7 AM to 7 PM across Georgia. Make sure you have your photo ID ready. #gapol#staceyevansforga
The choice on May 19 is about who will follow the money and hold the powerful accountable. I have spent my career winning whistleblower cases and fighting big budget fraudsters in court. Let's keep that energy in the House. #gapol#staceyevansforga
Proud to be named a 2026 Mental Health Now Candidate.
Every Georgian should be able to get the care they need, when they need it. That includes mental health care.
As your state representative, I’ve fought to expand access to health care, protect families and make sure our state puts people first. Mental health must be part of that work.
I’m grateful for this designation and ready to keep fighting for a Georgia where every family has access to the support, treatment and care they deserve.

I grew up in poverty and know the sting of seeing my mother choose between paying rent and medical bills and between food and school supplies. I don't just talk about economic dignity, I fight for it every day under the Gold Dome. We are just 3 days away from the primary. Make a plan to vote on Tuesday, May 19! #gapol #staceyevansforga
Today is the final day of Early Voting for the May 19 Primary. If you can't vote today, then I'll see you at the polls on Tuesday! I am running to continue serving as your voice and your watchdog in the House of Representatives. #gapol#staceyevansforga https://t.co/gjz399hUiR
This partisan move to redraw our maps is an unnecessary power grab. By calling a special session for June 17th, the majority isn't looking out for the people of Georgia. They are simply doing the bidding of President Donald Trump.
This is a calculated effort aimed at underrepresenting African American voters and nothing else. While Georgians are struggling with the rising costs of gas and growing grocery bills, leadership is choosing to ignore those daily burdens. Instead, they are focusing on rigging the system for political gain.
We should be working on lowering costs and supporting our families. We should not be wasting taxpayer time and money on a session designed to protect partisan interests. I will be at the Capitol to fight against this attempt to dilute the voices of our neighbors. Georgia deserves better.

My household just voted! Anyone who hasn’t gotten the chance to make their voice heard- it’s not too late. The last day for Early Voting is May 15th! Get out there! #gapol#staceyevansforga#vote
