Dr. Heilbrun, a prosecution witness, testified that Lindsay Clancy did not remember what happened when she woke up and was later “informed.” He also testified that being told information can impact memory.

He further explained that someone experiencing psychosis can genuinely believe something happened even when objective facts point in another direction.

That raises a serious question:

Are we looking at Lindsay’s independent memory of what happened—or a narrative that may have been shaped by what she was told afterward?

You don’t have to agree with me. But if we’re going to discuss this case, we need to actually listen to the testimony and examine the evidence with an open mind.
