@EsotericCD Lord knows I’ve tried. Oh how I’ve tried. Noisy tuneful rockin’ mixed with surrealist dadaist lyrics should be right up my alley. But sadly it just doesn’t do it for me.
Trying to figure out where Mr. Met’s shenanigans land on the old Mets Misery Bracket, which mind you came out 6 years ago before a bunch of other all-time Metsy moments happened
@lukebfox1 I remember there was a great interview with the DMA Design guys in Next Generation magazine where they all said that they hated Lemmings and hated having to port the game to every system imaginable. “Don’t ask us what our favorite game is. Is it Lemmings? No it fucking is not.”
@lukebfox1 The Amiga version was better, especially the music. As for the game itself, I played it about a year ago and sadly it does not hold up well. A phenomenal idea for a game ruined by the lack of a fast-forward option.
1. There's a great documentary that Vice did on the GFC when Henry Paulson asks Obama to come and support the bailout/TARP.
Obama says he will, but that Paulson has to talk to McCain and the Republicans that if they come out talking all the populism nonsense, he'd do the same.
Sources say Bucks owner Jimmy Haslam was a driving force in taking the Heat deal for Giannis over Boston’s offer. Haslam didn’t want to risk Jaylen Brown wanting out of Milwaukee in a year after dealing with Giannis and Myles Garrett trade demands. Haslam wanted certainty, and the Miami deal provided more of that with more total assets in return to Milwaukee.
The downfall of @Wawa needs to be studied in MBA classes. Their food flat out STINKS. The only “grab & go” breakfast option that was even slightly edible was their sizzli burritos, and apparently they’ve been discontinued. That’s the nail in the coffin for me.

Why Remote Work is White Collar Fraud.
"I have a three-year-old and a five-year-old. The idea that I could do any work at my house is like a total fantasy.
The kids come home at 3pm, your work day needs to keep going. I'm highly against it." @typesfast
People who expected to have student loan forgiveness but did not get it were substantially worse off than if none had been announced because of the financial decisions they made expecting forgiveness
