YouTube's review system is officially broken.

Apparently, my video about an investor who smartly bet against the 2008 housing bubble qualifies as a "sensitive event" and unsuitable for advertisers.

I thought this was a glitch in the manual system, but when I appealed, a human apparently reviewed it and came to the same conclusion.

I pressed yt further and received an email that my video depicted "terrorist organizations" without further explanation.

Um, what?

Then I realized I briefly mentioned the economic impact of September 11 in this part of my script:

But the events of 9/11 would change the trajectory of his firm. In response to the shock and uncertainty, the Federal Reserve cut interest rates to try to stimulate the economy.

I guess any mention of 9/11, even in a financial context, not glorifying the event, means it's unsuitable for advertisers? What about when it involves authoritative news reporting?
