The most interesting thing I’ve learned in my study is the amount of people who own a puppy mill dog and don’t know it, over half the amount of people who buy dogs from pet stores have no idea how terrible puppy mills actually are.

Puppies that are not sold from pet stores will most likely get sent to a rescue centre or have their price reduced to very little, therefor reducing profit for the mill. Buying dogs from pet stores has the potential to endanger the lives of other dogs.
