Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5 just dropped another masterpiece… on cancer cells.
Scientists at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro found that exposing cancer cells to the symphony destroyed 20% of them in just a few days—without harming healthy cells. Similar effects were seen with Ligeti’s Atmosphères, but Mozart’s Sonata for Two Pianos didn’t make the cut.
The exact mechanism isn’t clear yet, but researchers believe the rhythm and frequencies may be the key. Upcoming tests will include Samba and Funk to see if the pattern holds.
Did you know? Classical music is linked to reduced stress, improved focus, and even better sleep. Maybe it’s more powerful than we think.
Music: 1. Cancer: 0.
SAD season officially just started. take your vitamin D, magnesium, wake up earlier, eat more soups, more root vegetables, more journaling, more exercise, and more time outside.
when the seasons change, it also teaches us what needs to change in our lives.
I see these artists online, I feel they seem sweet and care about their fans, wanting to support and see them live…BUT THEN I see much they’re charging us to go to their concert and think NEVER FKING MIND, YOU DONT GIVE A SHIT ABOUT ME 😩😂
