Art summer camp week 2 is Bug Week! We made paper bugs and homemade tic tac toe boards (bug themed!) I absolutely love coming up with new ideas for my campers 🎨
Coming up with activities for art summer camp is just too much fun! Today my little friends painted their clay taco fish and island bowls from earlier in the week and we also made paper characters for plays (+ many other fun activities throughout the day!)🎨🖌️

For Spring Break, I went on the We Teach 4 NC College of Education trip to rural counties in NC. We visited Edgecombe, Lenoir, and Wayne County public schools and learned all about the new programs and initiatives they are working on. It was an amazing experience to learn!
I had the opportunity to be interviewed along with some other board members of MYEN which is featured in the College of Education News! Click to read the article to learn more about what we do and who we support.
