I’m at a Korean restaurant getting some food and they have a tv playing kpop videos. Tell me why I just watched a Le Sserafim mv, Illit, THEN a New Jeans video one right after the other… something cursed about this place. Either that, or the world is finally healing. 🙃🫶🏻
@inspiritof Omg this was like me. 😅 I LOVED tvxq from 2008-2010, but since I lived in the US there was a big disconnect between listening to kpop vs what was HAPPENING in kpop. I finished school & got a job and listened to diff music, so I had no idea they split up until 10 years later.
@mattbinsworld I've always viewed idols going onto survival shows as being an "other training as prescribed" type of extension of their company contacts, and they don't have any rights to any songs on the shows b/c all copyright is waived as part of the agreement to participate. Not sure tho.
@xparkhanbin I feel bad for him. He’s always presented himself to be someone who cares about morals, and yet he’s still a relatively new and young idol who’s trying to appease the masses paying for his livelihood. It’s hard to balance a moral compass versus your literal paycheck.
@OGmariposafria I have never in my LIFE considered selling the freebies I've gotten from concerts. The most I've done is give them to other fans at other shows as a 'pay it forward' gesture when it's clear I have enough and others have none. Selling them... is just bad vibes. 👎
@BlesslieMCA That's SMART. If it's in reasonable driving distance, I've def scoped out venues before, mostly to see where parking is. My #1 concert hack is to have a car. I will drive HOURS just to have the luxury of driving my own car away from the venue. Rideshares at concerts r a headache.
@BlesslieMCA Just realized your twts kept going and you mentioned eating instant ramen after the concert! 😆😆 Honestly, the enjoyment you get is all about how your CHOOSE to enjoy the experience, and I think the planned routine of it all makes for a very satisfying and successful experience.
@julieawheeler@BaruchTimmy@Variety Thanks for replying. 👍🏻 With how you describe it, it sounds like her original contract probably had really undesirable buyout conditions. I can understand why she cut her losses. It didn’t even occur to me that the contract options would be different for her versus Scooter.
@BaruchTimmy@Variety I have a genuine question. If her discography was for sale, why didn’t SHE buy it? Or was it a situation where the option was never presented to her or even possible? I’ve never understood this.
@hallojisoo For real! And the thing is, some of us (me) plan on seeing multiple groups this year, so I’m gonna choose the most economical options. Even if I’m not breaking the bank I STILL know what tickets are and aren’t worth and I’m not gonna pay out the nose when it’s not worth it.
@BannedKirby I mean... when I moved in with a housemate a few years ago and then moved out about 1.5 years later, then only things I took with me were... the things that belonged to me????
@jm_dogs NGL this doesn't sound like a bad routine. It turns the concert into a a job that you go to around "lunchtime" instead of late a night when you're tired after being awake since morning.
@luxemiaa You should definitely submit a complaint that the driver was deceitful and put you in an unsafe situation. At the very least you'll likely get app credit.
@taegyuris I've experienced that a few times... when it happens, it's a sign that you're supposed to STAND UP and dance in your row! No one is there to judge! DANCE!!! 🎶
