The Things That Changed How I see God 1

I got a call one morning at around 1 AM, it was from a lady in distress
The lady was a broadcaster located in Lagos, she went to Abuja on assignment with her TV station to interview some important dignitaries at an international event
She was married
As she interviewed various important people at the event, she caught the eyes of a particular man
The man approached her and gave her his card, she collected it and gave him her card as well
The man was married and he was in his fifties
The lady in question was 28 years old
Later in the evening of that same day, this man gave her a call
They had a short conversation
The man told her he would like to spend some time with her that evening at hotel
He promised that he would make it worth her while
She agreed to his proposition and quickly dressed up
She got to his hotel room at about 10 pm
They had some small talk and then they had sex
As soon as they were done, the man slumped and died
The lady immediately realised the hole she was in, she panicked for a few minutes and then she got an idea
She called me
I mean...
(A pastor or minister of the gospel is the last person I would have expected her to call, the way I was raised and the church I attended while I was growing up would have already concluded that she and the man had met with the judgment of God and deserved their fate)
She told me the truth
She said Brother Gbenga, this man must not die like this, I want him to come back to life and see me off. After I had left the hotel and the cameras had seen me leave, he could come back and slump if he wanted to but if he died like this I would be arrested and even though it would be proved that there was no foul play, the whole world will know what has happened and my life will be ruined
I said "Okay"
She laid her hands on him and we prayed for the man together
I was praying from Lagos and she was repeating my words in Abuja as we declared life instead of death
The man came back to life
(Now you could say "Maybe he fainted or he really didn't die or he was just pretending to be dead or he came back by himself or whatever or however)
That was not the point
The point was the man came back to life, stood up, showered, dressed up, gave the sister the money he promised her for inviting her over and saw her off to her Uber.
I had never met the sister face to face before, but the following Monday she and her husband were the first people at my office in Lagos (Another story that ended in praise)

This is why I shared this story: I didn't know God could intervene in such a case until that day
God did.
It really changed how I perceived God and how I have come to understand the gospel

PS: You can read this and convince yourself I am encouraging people to do bad things, you won't be the first, the Pharisees that killed Jesus in the Bible also share your mindset

You can read this and see the love of God and his intentionality towards his children, it can encourage you to rethink your decisions and embrace the love of God for you regardless of where you are in your life's journey

You can also read it and save my number hoping that I will help you raise a man from the dead after he dies doing hook up with you

The wise will see it for what it is, as for the rest, they will buy wisdom the next time it is available

Don't just go to church to showcase your new clothes, or to meet your friends in church.
Go to church with the spirit to encounter God, praise God, worship him and understand that you are nothing without him, there's nothing you can become without his grace 👌🏾best believe
