India doesn't have a folklore problem. It has a documentation problem.
Yakshas, Vetalas, Churels, Nagas — these stories exist, but the internet can't find them.
So I built LokKatha — a structured archive of Indian folklore

I can now officially say it: OpenRouter is being acquired by Stripe!
Although we cannot comment on the price, this marks one of the fastest acquisitions of this scale in history: almost exactly 3 years after founding.
In this blog post, we write about the founding story and history of OpenRouter, why we invested and why Stripe is the perfect acquirer. A few of the highlights:
People love to say "OpenRouter has no moat". They think of moats primarily as technical difficulty. As a two-sided model marketplace, OpenRouter provides a really valuable service to model labs: predictability in capacity and distribution. And to user: a simple way to access all models. With scale, OpenRouter is able to provide better uptime, more models, with the cheapest discounts and have model labs prioritize launching on OR first!
— We saw this with Zuck and Elon both tweeting about their models on OR first, all Chinese models announcing on OR and OpenAI doing their secret model launches on OR and having the largest, exclusive GPT 5.6 discounts too!
— Andrej Karpathy distinctly calls out OR as the "Transfer switch for AI"
— OR becomes the go to data source for multi-model usage with their iconic rankings page.
— Tokens grew ~30,000x since first launch and as of this week is at a >4.5 quadrillion (that's 10^15!) run rate, a consistent 33% MoM growth for 3yrs!
Founders Alex Atallah (@alexatallah), Chris Clark (@cclark) and Louis Vichy were at the center of it all. OpenRouter did it different: no hype about revenue, a completely remote workforce, no buzz around fundraising, just relentless focus on product. No doubt that the lessons Alex carried forward from OpenSea on token marketplaces played a role in making OR successful.
Lastly, and definitely the least important, OpenRouter was very special to me as my first deal at Menlo: we partnered at the Seed, led by Anj (@AnjneyMidha) at a16z, and led the A when my partner Matt Murphy (@mmurph) and I joined the board. I feel very fortunate to have miraculously worked with such a special team!

I built my own Spotify-like music library 🎵
Not because Spotify is bad—but because I'm a very casual music listener.
For me, Spotify's interface and controls often feel like an airplane cockpit 😅. Most of the time I'd just listen to music on YouTube.
The problem?
I would hear an amazing song, forget its name a few days later, and then spend forever trying to find it again. Most of the time I had to hope YouTube recommended it back to me. I've forgotten so many songs I genuinely loved because of this.
So I built LogPose.
✨ Features:
• Import your liked songs from YouTube
• Download music through yt-dlp
• Upload your own music files
• Automatically fetch metadata (title, artist, album, cover art)
• Organize your collection beautifully
• Create your own playlists
• Simple, clean interface focused on just listening
No subscriptions. No algorithm deciding what I should hear. Just my music collection, organized the way I like it.
It's also completely open source ❤️

Completed day 1 of GenAI with JS 2026 by @ChaiCodeHQ 🚀
Really looking forward to diving deep into GenAI with guidance from @Hiteshdotcom and @piyushgarg_dev.
Huge thanks to @ChaiCodeHQ for launching such a well-structured cohort.
Excited for the journey ahead! 🙌☕

I finally get to say this...
Glyph is live. 🚀
https://t.co/KHOFjw9U4I
I built Glyph because I've always hated that almost every messaging app asks for your phone number or email before you can even say "hi."
So I wondered...
What if your identity was just a seed phrase?
That's exactly what Glyph does.
Your seed phrase generates the cryptographic keys that encrypt every message. The server only stores scrambled ciphertext, so not even I—the person who built it—can read your chats.
A few things I'm really excited about:
🔐 No phone number. No email.
💬 End-to-end encrypted by default.
📱 Install it like an app (PWA).
🌙 Built for dark mode from day one.
📶 Works offline for onboarding, identity, and lock screen.
🛠️ Self-hostable with an open backend.
And yes, the name comes from One Piece. 😄
The Poneglyphs are ancient encrypted writings that only the right people can decode. That felt like the perfect name for an app where only you hold the key.
This is just v1, and I'd genuinely love to hear what you think. Try it, break it, tell me what sucks, tell me what you'd add.
Every bit of feedback helps ❤️
Working on a hobby project called Glyph.
The goal: messaging without phone numbers, emails, or traditional accounts.
Your identity lives in a seed phrase that only you hold, and messages are end-to-end encrypted by default.
A lot left to build, but here's the current state 👇

Today's Vani report humbled me 😂
I always thought I spoke at a normal pace.
Reality:
• 99 words/min
• Flat vocal energy
• Moderate intonation
That's the fun part of building tools for communication—you end up learning a lot about your own habits too.

Exactly. AI is turning into a geopolitical weapon, not just a productivity tool. US export controls on Fable 5 & Mythos 5 show how fast access can disappear based on nationality.
Every country (and every serious dev) needs to prioritize sovereign/open-source models now. Relying entirely on foreign frontier labs is high risk.
Tried Buldak Carbonara ramen today 🍜
It was pretty decent, but I think I've finally accepted that my Indian taste buds are loyal to Maggi 😅

🚀 Vani is officially live!
After weeks of building, fixing, and improving, it's finally time to put it in your hands.
You can now try Vani at https://t.co/fuzLbE8WVb and get instant AI feedback on your speaking skills.
Since this is launch day, you might run into bugs, broken flows, or things that don't work as expected. If you do, please be patient and let me know through the Feedback section inside the app.
Your feedback will help shape Vani and make it better for everyone.
Can't wait to hear what you think ❤️

Most people don't know what to improve when they practice speaking.
That's why I'm building Vani.
Today's update:
✅ Credits system
✅ Wallet & top-ups
✅ Usage tracking
Record yourself speaking and get instant AI feedback on confidence, fluency, pronunciation, and pace.
One step closer to helping people speak with confidence 🎙️✨
