Marina Mabrey oh my goodness. 53 is nuts. She's been awesome this year. Been one of the best shooters in the game and been a huge part in Toronto being a very fun team. What a game and what a player
Reporting live for the NBA Draft Show -- the Charlotte Hornets are engaged in LaMelo Ball trade talks as multiple teams strongly pursue the star guard:
Miami getting Ryan Conwell at 37 can prove to be an amazing pickup. 3 point sniper that can space the floor for them while having enough strength and good frame to maybe be okay defensively. Going to a great spot as well. Might be a big steal
I like Denver taking Trevon Brazile at 35. He's super intriguing to me, with great size, length, and athleticism that has defensive potential, getting deflections and moving his feet. Lob threat with 3 point shooting ability, can become very versatile 4 or 5 on both ends
Cavs getting Meleek Thomas at 34 is interesting. Definitely the best player on the board and has great shooting along with scoring and ball-handling potential. Would have to liked to get a backup big or more size, but can't be too mad at them going best avaliable and great talent
Wolves being able to get Isaiah Evans at 33 is great. A jumpshoot and floor spacer that can bring some 3 point shooting and microwave like ability to Minnesota's depth. Great pick for them
Sergio de Larrea to Dallas actually. Like it a lot more now. Get to take a swing on jumbo point guard with playmaking and floor spacing. Can have huge lineups on the court if it works out.
Suns getting Koa Peat is cool. The athleticism stands out with good defensive potential and just a good player. Gives them more size and adds to that defensive toughness style they play. Love the shot there
Joshua Jefferson to Brooklyn is nice. One of my favorite prospects in this draft, high IQ winning player that is a Swiss army knife. Can defend, Pass, shoot a little, bring physicality, and goes to Brooklyn to bring more size and help provide winning culture.
I think Boston taking Chris Cenac Jr has the chance to be a big steal. Big size and length, great defensive potential of being a 4 or maybe a 5 down the line. Play finisher on offense with dunks and 3s if he becomes more consistent shooter. Very intrigued with this pick
Spurs get Tarris Reed Jr. Doubling down on centers just in case Quaintance doesn't work put. Gives them more size, rebounding, and a solid passer as well.
Wow Lakers got Cameron Carr. The steal of the Draft for me. Carr is amazing, 3 point shooting, defensive potential, off ball scoring, length, lot to like about him. I firmly believe he's a real NBA player and Lakers getting him at this late is a home run.
Hawks go with Zuby Ejiofor. Get more big man depth and defense in the interior. Plays with toughness and physicality that can be nice in spurts for Atlanta. Doesn't give them much height, but definitely can turn into a good depth piece
76ers taking Labaron Philon is very interesting. Definitely was the best player avaliable and someone I think can work well in the league. Have a guard cluster, but Philon can help their depth and be someone that can light it up and run offense off the bench. Worth a shot here
Like Karim Lopez ending up in Memphis. A team that has become really good at developing talent and I don't mind the swing. Lopez has talent and size, and goes to a good situation for him
