CHINA CONFIRMS TRUMP'S BEIJING VISIT FROM MAY 13-15 AMID IRAN TENSIONS
Beijing officially announced the date of Donald Trump’s state visit this week, publicly green-lighting the first US presidential trip to China in nearly a decade despite tensions over the Iran war.
Trump, who last visited China in 2017, will meet Xi Jinping in a much-anticipated summit that’s already been rescheduled once due to the war. The White House had said the summit will be held May 14-15.

TRUMP ADMIN ANNOUNCES EXPANSION OF VISA RESTRICTION POLICY IN WESTERN HEMISPHERE
The Trump administration on Thursday announced a "significant expansion" of its visa restriction policy in the Western Hemisphere, targeting people working on behalf of U.S. adversaries.
In its announcement, the State Department said the expanded policy allows it to restrict U.S. visas for people intentionally acting on behalf of adversarial countries to "undermine America's interests."

SUPREME COURT GETS NEW EMERGENCY PETITION FROM TRUMP ADMINISTRATION
The Trump administration asked the Supreme Court on Wednesday to allow it to end protections that have shielded hundreds of thousands of Haitians from deportation.
In an emergency filing, Solicitor General D. John Sauer urged the justices to block a lower court ruling that found the administration violated federal law when it terminated Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for about 350,000 Haitians. Sauer argued that lower courts were improperly interfering with executive authority and harming U.S. interests and foreign relations.
