I went all in on this role, but you can't even say that, because then people act like you're not trying—or like, what, other jobs aren't hard? Or that you must be making a lot of money and showing off? I really get how this line of work can mess with your head, but the thing is... everything you do is being watched. It can reach people—it can change someone. It can help people understand certain things. Maybe it’s just one person out of a million but changing even one person… it can change their whole life. You might be doing something you love, and only a very small number of people get to receive that, but when it actually changes that one person, it’s so damn cool. Don’t let what people say or anything else tear you down.

Just focus on the good things.
You shouldn’t let those words get to you and make you not want to do it anymore. Try to look at the good things that happened. It’d be so sad if someone like you gave up what you love. Some things do really change people, so don’t listen to everything people say — just keep going and do it.

🗣️: We enjoy working, but at the same time, reading feedback is fucking heartbreaking. We wake up at 5 in the morning, but people don't know how hard we've worked. I totally understand that being an actor means, like, working with your heart, but people don't understand...How much we dedicate ourselves to it. We can't just go around saying, 'Oh, we worked so hard on this. If we say that, people just go, 'Well, that's your duty, that's your profession, of course you have to work hard. You want to say, 'Oh, we gave this role our absolute all,' but you can't say that either. Because it'll make people think, 'So other people aren't trying hard?' or 'Don't other professions struggle too?' or 'You make more money, why are you whining? I totally get now that this profession is, like, emotionally damaging. But everything... everything we do, there are people watching. There are people... It can change someone. There are.. It helps people understand things. There might only be one person out of a million, but changing even just one person.. It changes their entire life, you know. We might be doing something that makes us happy, but at the same time, very few people might actually receive that. When it manages to change that one person, it... it's just so cool. Don't let people's words or anything break your heart.

You've spoken about the challenges of filming love scenes in the BL space. With increased intimacy in 'Peach and Me, how did you approach those scenes?
🐼: I don't think NC (Not for Children) or love scenes are necessarily essential to every BL series. If a series has a romantic tone or a story that naturally calls for those scenes, they can help tell the story and develop the characters' relationship.
🐻: For me, romantic or intimate scenes depend on how the story develops and how the characters' emotions are portrayed. It also depends on the direction, mood and context of each scene. So, we see these scenes as part of storytelling.
