We were called to reports of a stabbing in Eastwood Rd North shortly after 12.05pm.

Police: Four people have been arrested and drugs and weapons seized as officers carried out a series of warrants in #Basildon.

They took place yesterday and followed on from similar warrants in #Westcliff last week.

Police: Officers are appealing for information following reports of a man acting suspiciously on two occasions in Rayleigh.

Police: We want to identify this man in connection with an incident in #Rayleigh where it was reported a man exposed himself.

It happened in the Hartford Close area at around 7.10pm on 14 Sept.

Police: We are now in a position to release the identity of the man who died after being found injured in #Westcliff last month.

35 year-old James Avis died after being assaulted in Hainault Avenue at around 10.35pm on Saturday 25 September.

Police: Twenty people have been arrested this morning as part of a co-ordinated strike against drug supply across south #Essex

The arrests were made during a series of warrants executed in #Westcliff this morning, with the first strike taking place at 4am.

Police: A man who sexually assaulted three women in the #Southend area over the space of three days last year has been sentenced to an indefinite hospital order.

Albert Stone attacked the women between 31 March and 2 April last year.

Police: Leighton Snook's been jailed for life with a minimum of 30 years for the murder of Donald Ralph in #Aldham last Dec.

Snook had gone to the home of his elderly relative to try and steal property.

Police: A man's been charged with manslaughter following the death of a man in #Westcliff at the weekend.

The victim was found injured in Hainault Avenue at around 10.35pm and, sadly, later died.

A 24 year-old man is due in court today.
