Yesterday, I wrote about being broken and how exhausting it can be.
Today, let’s pause and appreciate how far we’ve evolved.
Life is full of surprises, layered with demanding challenges. Still, the good moments leave behind memories worth holding on to, memories that remind us
we didn’t expect.
For me, I’ve evolved far more than I was a year ago. Even when that inner voice whispers you can’t, I still choose to try. Because along the way, the outcome either pushes me to do better or teaches me what to let go of.
They say life comes at you fast, but how deep does it cut before it sparks either hurt or happiness?
We’re told a stitch in time saves nine, but is it really as easy as the saying makes it sound?
The honest answer?
Yes.
Not instantly. Not magically.
But gradually, through clarity, growth, healing, resilience, and a new version of you that only brokenness could carve out.
Because sometimes, being broken isn’t the end.
It’s the beginning of becoming.
This is for you who has ever felt less beautiful.
For the days you looked at yourself and wondered when you started feeling this way. When confidence slowly slipped away and comparison became louder than your own voice.
were still learning. In allowing yourself to evolve without shame. In choosing patience over pressure, compassion over comparison, and progress over perfection.
So be kind to yourself. Speak gently to the girl you see in the mirror. She is learning. She is growing.
