Today is Oleksandr Matsievskyi’s birthday. He was a soldier who, looking the enemy in the eye, took a drag on his cigarette and said, “Glory to Ukraine.” This act will echo through the centuries.
Glory to Ukraine!
Eternal memory to Oleksandr and to all who died for our freedom.
💥SPIEF’26 delegates came for networking. Ukraine added a light show. Twice.
Opening night: Ukrainian drones hit the Petersburg Oil Terminal. Massive fire. Fuel tanks ablaze. Spectacular skyline visuals for arriving delegates.
Last night — the afterparty:
Drones covered ~1,000 kilometres to reach the St. Petersburg region — striking Russian Navy arsenals and a base in Kronstadt.
For guests who preferred to leave early: ~500 kilometres to Krasnodar region, where Ukraine’s long-range sanctions hit an oil depot on the way out.
President Zelensky’s @ZelenskyyUa comment was precise:
“This war is time to end. But Russia’s leader wants to fight. So Ukraine’s sanctions keep working. Any manifestation of injustice against Ukraine will receive a just response.”
Russia spent four days in St. Petersburg discussing the future of its economy.
Ukraine spent the same four days explaining — in the only language that seems to register — what that future actually looks like.
The forum is over. The fires are not.

The proposal would include a new mechanism to increase transparency around funding for Ukraine.
I am deeply honored to receive the Order of Princess Olga, III Class.
Today is Journalist Day in Ukraine, and I am incredibly grateful to be among the 37 Ukrainian and international media professionals honored with state awards by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy (@ZelenskyyUa ). I know we are all working very hard, and it means a great deal to know that our work is being seen and recognized.

Ukrainian drone operators are now receiving satellite imagery from U.S. commercial provider Vantor in as little as 15 minutes, according to WSJ. The technology reportedly reduced the time from target detection to strike by 90%, enabling faster attacks on Russian positions. #Ukraine
I said yesterday, this interview was complete disillusionment. Don’t ever think Russian’s are daft and they don’t know what’s going on, I wrote in my book at the surprise of even prisoners complaining that the news was bullshit, as the Ukrainian forces crept closer to our prison during those early days in 2022.
Putin is desperate, of course playing down the debacle of his foreign policy, invasion and Imperialist genocide he can’t stop, won’t stop, until unfortunately, he is stopped.
And many more will die.
🤼♀️ 🏃♀️ Russian Women Couldn't Stomach Ukrainian Strength: Fleeing the Podium
Russian women couldn't handle Ukrainian strength—after being crushed by a Ukrainian woman at the European Pankration Championship, the Russian women fled from the podium.
Notice that Ukraine didn't attack anyone; Russia attacked. Russia, as an aggressor and a murderer, is present at these tournaments, which makes the tournament organizers accomplices to crimes. This creates unspeakable pain for the athletes themselves, because very often, it is precisely these athletes, or their relatives or friends, who murdered the family members or friends of Ukrainian athletes.
Ukrainians cannot stand next to Russians, and it is a massive mockery of genocide victims to allow Russians to participate. But what is the reason for the hatred among Russians? Simply hatred without cause, chauvinism, and rage over the fact that we exist. That is the single reason why Russians hate Ukrainians.
❗️“Russia will definitely restore the rights of Russians in Ukraine,” — Lavrov
The only right Russia has actually secured for Russians in Ukraine so far is the right to return home in a black body bag.
🇩🇪🇺🇦 Video of the launch of the German HX-2 loitering munition.
Russian began to complain more often about our attacks with these drones, including on enemy logistics.
By supporting Ukraine, we deter aggression everywhere, combat authoritarianism and reaffirm that the United States does not abandon those who fight for freedom.
While some have been unwilling to stand up to Vladimir Putin, the Congress must.
Tonight, House Democrats did.
UPDATE: Patrick has refused to do an interview, despite this being the biggest story in Ireland this week. He was happy to defend the russia refinery in public before it was a scandal. This is a terrible look.
