🚨 A 23-year-old man is accused of killing a Georgia police sergeant who had arrested him just days before the shooting. Warm Springs Police Sgt. Chris Fisher was allegedly targeted and killed in a drive-by shooting shortly before midnight Tuesday. The killing prompted a statewide manhunt for Jimmy Steverson, with the GBI issuing a Blue Alert and warning that he was armed and extremely dangerous. Fisher was a husband and father of two, and his death has devastated the small Warm Springs community. Former colleagues remembered him as a dedicated officer who cared about children and took pride in being a good representative of law enforcement.

Steverson was located in Anderson County, South Carolina, where authorities said he was taken into custody during a traffic stop after suffering a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was transported to a hospital and later confirmed dead. Fisher had arrested and transported Steverson to jail Aug. 27 on felony charges, but Steverson bonded out the next day after posting three bonds totaling $10,000. Fisher had served with several Georgia law-enforcement agencies, completed more than 1,500 hours of training and had been promoted to sergeant in Warm Springs only weeks before he was killed.

The mass shooting in an apartment tower in downtown Minneapolis already had a gun-threat file in that building. Police say two victims are dead, and the suspected shooter is dead with them.

Three officers were hurt: two by gunfire and one in surgery. Local reporting identifies Carlton Johnson II, 35. Eviction papers say he assaulted a resident, showed a firearm, and threatened to kill someone. Cops said they already knew the name.

Between October 2025 and May this year the American government was shut down, in whole or in part, for more than 119 days. First 43 days of everything, the longest in the country’s history, then 76 days of the Department of Homeland Security, the longest any single agency has ever gone unfunded. Federal workers missed paychecks throughout. Members of Congress did not.

On May 14 the Senate changed its own rules. Kennedy’s resolution tells the secretary of the Senate to hold back senators’ salaries for as long as a shutdown lasts and let them collect the checks when it ends. Nobody loses the money. Advance vote 99–0; final passage by voice, without debate. It takes effect the day after the November midterms because the 27th Amendment forbids changing congressional pay until an election has intervened. It binds the Senate only. It’s racial revenge rhetoric being framed as Black empowerment. The obvious question is: would this kind of language be treated the same way if a white creator were directing it at Black people?

Days ago, Judge Jeanette Vargas blocked Sec. Marco Rubio from freezing foreigner visas in 75 countries. In response, Rubio froze visas worldwide for “training,” saying the soon-to-be limited visas should not go to people living on the taxpayer dime.

He changed the scale of the policy after the narrower order. The 75-country block did not end the freeze.

Well, I agree with you that there are more first world black countries than first world white countries. In fact, I’m so educated that I also think blacks have higher average intelligence quotients than whites. The Chinese, Japanese, Germans and Russians can’t compete with the greatness of Haitians who are clearly some of the most advanced and intelligent people on the planet.

I’m just asking questions. You’re making definitive statements. As far as I can tell, you have absolutely no idea why blacks who have the exact same socioeconomic status as their white counterparts commit disproportionately more crime. We could examine the same problem when analyzing the disproportionate black on Asian violent crime rate relative to Asian on black. You seem to lack answers and know that your position is weak at best.
