Update: "Anything Could Happen Yet"
Pattison | Multichapter
By popular demand (me, myself and I) I have allowed my obsession to carry me through 14 more chapters of slowburn, loose-end-tying and just general basking in the loveliness of pattison. Stay tuned for weekly updates!
My pattern recognition brain will be like "look at the themes in this show, they're SO putting them together π " and then the show is a netflix anime live action adaptation that already has a male love interest
@tmsvillain the character of lp was misused but that's true of 90% of the characters in that show, it's not homophobia lmao and there's a difference btw disagreeing with a narrative choice and thinking it came out of nowhere. I think bradcory sucks but it's definitely always been there lol
@tmsvillain ppl will call queerbait on anything these days. Having an established wlw relationship between two characters who have vocally identified as non-straight is like the opposite of queerbaiting lmao
The tms fandom has always had a bit of a difficult relationship with bradley's bisexuality huh like I've seen a lot of weird takes all the way from s2 that are either very poorly worded or just straight up kinda biphobic
@tmsvillain And though I agree that the show is terrible at handling queer issues, especially the whole outing plotline, it's a very slippery slope to claim a bisexual woman's queerness is erased if she doesn't end up with a woman
@tmsvillain Her actions annoy me bc the inconsistency undermines the character work. The characterization depicts someone who is unjustifiably self-righteous, but the show treats her as what she claims to be: mature and poised. The lack of follow-through turns me off of the character
