A prolific Evesham shoplifter was sentenced to a total of 16 months on Monday as he was already subject to a suspended sentence.

Matthew Schramm, 43, of no fixed abode, was arrested by the new Evesham Town Centre Team and remanded to court.

An Evesham shoplifter has been handed a Criminal Behaviour Order banning him from three retail stores in the town.

Matthew Schramm, 43, of Christ Church Way, Evesham, was given the CBO at Magistrates’ Court on 6 August.

An Evesham man has been handed a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) preventing him from contacting the emergency services unnecessarily.

Dane Whitmore, 40, of Malin Mews, is ordered 'not to contact the emergency services save for a genuine purpose or emergency�� for two years.

On Tuesday 30th July PC Trowman was on his bike carrying out patrols when he heard a call from a store in Evesham where a prolific shoplifter was trying to steal and made off. PC Trowman was able to quickly locate male and arrest him for that and 5 other theft offences.

Three men were arrested in the early hours of this morning (Monday 1 July) for conspiracy to convey prohibited items into a prison.

Police were informed of a drone sighting near HMP Long Lartin at 1.55am and attended to search the area.
