We just published a deep-dive on why even the most advanced AI models are starting to degrade. The core problem isn’t compute. It’s data. The internet is flooded with synthetics: Model Collapse and Knowledge Collapse are becoming real. Full breakdown of the Data Wall, link at the end. 🧵
Every project is a founder's dream turned into reality. And every project has a story.
Builders are optimists and dreamers - which means we always see success ahead. Every single minute spent turning your idea into reality is worth it. Because one day you'll see the result.
The ultimate example of unbreakable belief in an idea is the story of Malcolm McLean.
A former truck driver from North Carolina who single-handedly transformed the entire global maritime industry.
In the mid-20th century, ports were pure chaos: cargo was moved bag by bag, by hand. Ships sat idle for weeks. Port operations ate up to 50% of the total shipping cost. McLean came up with a brilliantly simple solution - the standardized shipping container.
The industry fought back hard. Dock workers threatened violence. Ports and railroads said there were no cranes. Banks called it a crazy idea.
But he didn't give up. In 1955, McLean sold his successful trucking company, took a massive $22M loan (putting everything he owned on the line), bought the Pan-Atlantic shipping company and two old WWII T2 tankers, and converted them for containers.
On April 26, 1956, the Ideal X carrying 58 containers left the port of Newark bound for Houston. Loading took just a few hours.
The old way cost $5.83 per ton.
McLean's containers? Just $0.16.
36 times cheaper.
The old logistics died that day forever. Today, 80% of world trade moves in containers. The container became the invisible infrastructure of global trade - nobody thinks about it, it just works.

Node Runner Season One is over. Here are a few highlights:
- Total Node Runners: 560,000+
- Quests completed: 2 million+
- Points distributed: 15 billion+
- Glyphs minted: 765,000+
When we looked at consistent uptime — the metric that truly separates node runners from spectators — a clear winner emerged.
Crew ACK, leveraging its high percentage of Validator/Node Operator runners, demonstrated unparalleled endurance and technical stability.
ACK: Led the daily uptime ranking for 14 out of the 21 days of the Gridcrew competition, accumulating 333 hours as the leader (68.66%).
FIN: Showed strong operational discipline, holding the top spot for 151 hours.
SYN: SYN led the daily rankings for only one single hour across the entire competition, holding the top spot for zero full days.
Congrats to the ACK crew and thanks to all Node Runners for participating.
Gridcrews team medal images and videos are now listed in the Gridcrews Finale collection. You can mint yours (or all of them, if you prefer) to commemorate Season 1: https://t.co/igyarR1FUh

For #WIPWednesday, we’re launching a new mini-series: Science of the Strange.
Where real science meets the worlds we build.
First up: Chromatic Aberration. 🌈
Light isn’t just one thing. It’s a spectrum. When it bends through air, glass, or alien atmospheres, each color travels differently. Red drifts one way, blue another, creating faint halos or color shifts known as chromatic aberration.
On Earth, it’s lens flaw.
But on Strange Planets, it’s part of the physics.
From orbit, you’ll notice a soft color drift: true chromatic aberration. But on the surface, the spectrum splits even further, spreading red, green, and blue differently across every rock and shadow.
This surface effect is inspired by real chromatic aberration, but reimagined through the planet’s unstable atmosphere and materials.
Because in PlanetQuest, even light can get lost. 💫

Concept art → chaos → flamethrower test. 🔥
The burrowing creature from the Volcanic Planet made a rare comeback in the testing area.
Naturally, we set it on fire. For research purposes. 😏
Did you spot it during the last Early Access session?

🔥 Aish Fenix - The Fire That Listens.
In the dark halls of the Bastion, she learned that silence isn’t peace; it’s the breath before truth speaks.
Once a scientist, now a voice for the free.
Her Quantum scarf carries whispers of every star the Empire tried to silence.
She doesn’t shout.
She burns quietly and the galaxy listens.
📖 Read her story in Season 4 on https://t.co/4r2GY24ipu and across the Quantum novels.

🤔 Thought those escort missions and loot drops were glamorous from the start? Yeah, no. That’s why #WIPWednesday exists, to show the mess before the magic.
From coughing hazard pads 😷
...to dummy scientists 🧍➡️🧍
...to clunky loot boxes 📦
Every mission in PlanetQuest: Frontiers starts as the world’s lamest greybox… before it becomes the galaxy you explore. 🌌⚡

This week's WIP Wednesday brings you the first-ever look inside our testing area 👀
That’s where we throw crazy ideas (like space pirates 🏴☠️🚀) into the dev build to see what happens.
Will they make it into the game? Maybe… maybe not. 😉
For now, enjoy the chaos.

Jared - A survivor forged into captain by loyalty and fire.
He was never meant to lead. But when betrayal and monsters tore the Crimson Wolves apart, Jared stood by the pack’s code: never abandon your own.
That loyalty carried him from reluctant survivor to captain, the unyielding center of a broken crew.
