Finally caught the Sony State of Play and the only exclusive that interested me was Wolverine
Other than the Dave the Diver prequel and No Rest For the Wicked (which will both be on PC), I thought the rest of the show was extremely lackluster
We were pretty busy this week -- dropping demos, announcing partnerships, & releasing major updates.
From Corsair Cove and C-Beams to 9 Kings and NEBULOUS: Fleet Command, there's been huge developments at the stable.
Here's the roundup of everything you might have missed! 🧵
@TheGingerPerks At some point it’s just blue checkmarks spouting whatever nonsense gets them quoted, commented, and engaged with.
No offense. I think you’re a legit person. But accounts like the one you’re responding to? I think 90% is just bait not worth acknowledging.
@stormfall33 One of the rare games where higher difficulty forced me to engage with the entire suite of combat mechanics and was better for it.
Combat never felt great, but compared to CDPR’s earlier efforts, just being serviceable felt like a masterpiece.
@danno_omen You’re making assumptions about resource allocation and how CDPR is structured, neither of which you can possibly have an informed opinion on.
Nine women can’t make a baby in a month.
Multiple teams don’t automatically guarantee a faster development cycle or a better game.
We are so thrilled to announce that we are publishing C-Beams in partnership with @DistantLightG and @LevelCapGaming!
This stunning space ARPG puts you in the pilot's seat as you navigate a perilous black hole system and engage in advanced ship combat.

Medallion's humming... that can only mean one thing! It's time to announce The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Songs of the Past! ⚔️
This brand new expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will take you to the Path with Geralt of Rivia once more. It’s being co-developed with @Fools_Theory and is coming to PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5 in 2027. Stay tuned for more information in late summer. ⏰
Max Verstappen spoke about the comments that he had taken too many risks in the 24 Hours race:
"I'm a race driver who adapts to the necessary circumstances."
"When I leave the track, people say I was at the limit or even beyond the limit. Of course I was at the limit, and of course I drive as close as possible to the other cars to lose as little time as possible. I think I'm very good at assessing how close I can drive to another car and how much risk I can take. I think I have a good sense of whether I can overtake on the outside or the inside."
"If you're cautious, you just lose time. You need to be aggressive in a certain way and muscle your way in. That way, you force the space and people get out of the way. It's something I've been doing for a long time, even in the simulator. In the end, it's the same thing, except there you don't have the G-forces or know how the car behaves in the real world. You learn a lot about how to read traffic."
@HellishRebuke_ I clicked one today to give them a block and his most recent posts were about the number of accounts he baited into responding and engaging with his bullshit
If I encounter a jackass with a blue checkmark I just ban and move on
No way I’m going to feed them
@RevolverJerm I’ll go one better. Alien Isolation was a great 25-30 hour game that would’ve been an exceptional 15 hour game.
Some games overstay their welcome, even great ones.
@JesseKazam BSG has never been good at enemy AI. Their only solution are bullet sponges and aim bots. The AI is already superhuman. Some of it is limitation of the setting. It’s part of why Arc is a smarter design. No human should tank multiple headshots.
