finished my relic this week. not too sure what im going to do next, maybe finish getting all the phantom jobs leveled up. gonna take a while to grind out with how much overtime ive been doing at work though.
new assets should exist in harmony with the visual style of vanilla assets. though i guess its easier to just say: slapping a hair port with extremely intricate geometry and textures onto an otherwise vanilla character is not vanilla+
it's been bothering me lately, seeing vanilla+ labels on character designs that are not so. the point is to enhance the visuals whilst keeping the visual style of the game intact. it's not about the number of mods, but the quality of them. you need look no further than minecraft.
in the early years of minecraft's modding scene you would often see tacky models and textures wildly out of place within preexisting environments. in the modern scene, authors mimic geometry and textures most in line with how the game's artists have designed it.
i was going to post a short gpose/video here, but i was unsatisfied with it. might edit it more or start over from scratch. i wanted to create a "CONTINUE?" menu within the scene but it didn't pan out. this is an unrelated lazy gpose that i took outside my estate.
