Little dragon was taken from a medieval manuscript by Netherlandish artist Lieven van Lathem. I love his little creatures and wild colours. As you can see there was a lot of pigment and water used, and the paper barely buckled and nothing bled through. Amazing.

I just discovered Peter Pauper Press journals and was shocked at how fountain pen friendly they are. I compared them to a bunch of fpf papers and they kicked butt. No bleeding or ghosting at all! And they are very inexpensive. I even did a dense watercolour test and it was great!
