Y’know that thing where you’re exhausted & you need to stop & so you do stop & then your brain goes “Excellent. Now that I have your attention, let us review every mistake you have made since 1982.”
I do not like that thing.
There is, however, FASCINATING science behind it.
@foxlanebooks Very excited, have just placed my order for a 1st edition of Murder on Mustique and a copy of The eight detectives! Hope things start to pick up!
Today I thought I would start a thread of highly recommendable non-fiction titles about (mostly classic) crime fiction that I have read. Please add your own suggestions too 📚🙂
Book No. 1: The Golden Age of Murder (2015) by Martin Edwards
@unbounders @MYSWEARYCAT@cox_tom My lovely copy! Notebook is a brilliant read covering all aspects of Tom's day to day life. Including wildlife, Tom's dad, moving house and lots more. It is a humorous and enjoyable read, well worth a look.
