@Ardiaean8372@athiestboi it's also somewhat of an appeal to probability fallacy. "human existence is highly improbable > therefore god" is a massive logical leap. there's a grand canyons worth of space you need to fill with evidence before i'd even begin to consider that claim valid.
@Ardiaean8372@athiestboi it's also an argument from incredulity fallacy, not knowing how complexity arose naturally doesn't make 'god did it' an empirical conclusion. you still need to provide evidence for why god is responsible for natural complexity.
@Ardiaean8372@athiestboi we can see it, we can observe its movements, which are always consistent. we can measure the energy it emits, we can observe the effects it has on us & the planet. that's kind of how we prove anything really
@foundlost421@SuperToelicker@TheThriftyDev@hell_line0 that's simply incorrect. consent to an action is not consent to all outcomes, moreover, acknowledgement of risk is also not consent. sex and pregnancy are two separate actions, and consent doesn't transfer from one action to another.
@Clearpath__@AnthonyPle58179 how can god create time from outside time? change can only happen form within time, as temporal ordering (before, after) requires time. which means time has to exist in order for change to occur. and if time already exists, then god didn't create time.
@AllSpacesFilled@mitten33753@SleepySimulacra@StellaNoxEclair oh, that question! i already answered: it wasn't. there's nothing insulting about telling someone it's okay to be gay. it's actually quite a nice thing to say, more people should say it often
@TheThriftyDev@SuperToelicker@hell_line0 the entire point of consent is that it protects bodily autonomy, it doesn't override it. consenting to something doesn't mean you waive your bodily autonomy rights, as consent can still be withdrawn.
