@OP_23K This is one of the rare RE9 EN blunders. The JP version doesn't say that she is the "original",
Victor in JP also doesn't say that Grace isn't a clone, just that she isn't important to Elpis.
In the Biohazard 3 manhua, the Hunter Beta has other attributes that Jill has to deal with, including corrosive blood that poisons on contact. It also has a rather perverse side, whether or not this was added for some kind of "fan service" is anyone's guess #REBHFun
The Titan Spinner gives live birth. This is not how spiders work irl.
HOWEVER - it IS how mutant spiders work in old RE games! According to classic supplementary material, Webspinners keep their egg sacks inside of their abdomens.
Also, "birthing squelch"

@After97022607@JillJVF96 Well I'm late in answering your late answer, so I win.
And yeah, I'm super hyped about all the promises being made about RE9's significance, lol
A full English translation of the Different Space Arc of the Biohazard 2 #manhua is now available, edited and translated by @lunarindie and graciously hosted by @project_umb! Enjoy!

A lot of people think that the modern idea of a "Zombie" is based on the Haitian Zombi myth, but this isn't true. The real source of the Romero Zombie is the book "I am Legend", which is itself based on vampires.
@hazardman89 And Modern Zombies have almost nothing in common with the Vodou Zombi, other than being undead. I have nothing against using the word "Zombie", i'm just saying that they and Zombi have very different, unrelated origins.
During the development of the original Resident Evil, there were plans for monsters based on Mayflies and Crabs. I have added these monster to Virus Analysis:

No one, absolutely no one.
Twitter AI explaining this post:
"It mentions a hybrid first-person (FP) and over-the-shoulder (OTS) camera system, inspired by a popular Resident Evil 7 mod that reintroduced classic fixed-camera angles."
Also I said "not to mention" twice, lol.
The fact that RE9 is actually dealing with the secret of Raccoon City, after all this time (original RE3, Degeneration, RE6, etc) seems almost too good to believe. On top of that, the story being compared to Revelation, which is filled with lore fanservice, is really exciting.
Not to mention the things it has going for it outside of story: it is aiming for a RE7-like feel, has FP and OTS cameras, and seems to have a stalker enemy that is more in-depth than any so far in RE. Not to mention the theories that, if true, would be huge.
I've added a new section to the "Monsters" table at the Virus Analysis: "Slot Machines". This contains the brand-new entries to the monsters featured exclusively in BIOHAZARD VENDETTA Smartslot, including a new Nemesis and a Zombie Ostrich:
