@stevesteranka@farzyness Depends on price. But estimating something like $50k each. $10k per year over 5 years, these things will likely pay for themselves. Forget robotaxi networks. Optimus networks are the future.
My mom was in an accident in her @Tesla Model Y. Right after the accident, she called me and could not believe she was in an accident - she really didn’t feel anything other than the loud noise of airbags deploying. Huge shout out to our engineering and safety teams for building the safest cars.
Proud to announce she took delivery of a brand new Model Y last night. Her latest response was she cannot believe how much better the ride quality has become and the interior is so much quieter vs. her 2020 Model Y. Now she is learning how to use FSD much more.
I bought my mom a Model X today 🥹
She’s super excited to do all the things: FSD, supercharging, roadtrip etc.
She even asked me for websites that sell Tesla stuff so she can customize it. Lol
I’m super happy for her to officially join the Tesla family.
Happy Christmas mom ❤️
First drive of FSD V13.2. FSD put itself into drive, drove out of my garage, drove on snow covered dirt roads, and took me to my destination with no help. It then parked itself in a parking spot.
I get asked this a lot. Here’s my Cybertruck efficiency at nearly 16k miles.
365wh/mi =336 mile on a 123kWh pack.
I don’t drive slow.
I actually speed up a decent bit when I drive, then let regen coast me as much as I can. I call it the “green game”, trying to get the regen bar as high as I can as long as I can. It’s fun.
FSD is actually much more efficient than I am, frequently getting down to 300wh/mi.
Disclaimer, lately in Phoenix the weather has been so good I do not use climate at all. However, when I do use climate, it’s usually set to a more mild temperature like 69, instead of low. A good show of the efficiency difference is since the we, robot even. 333wh/mi.
Cyberbeast Efficiency
My first 2k miles:
• 372wh/mi
• 330mi range
My last drive (15mi):
• 296wh/mi
• 415mi range
Note: 95% of my miles are city driving.
I did pre-order the range extender, but honestly, I probably don’t need it.
p.s. I still don’t have my wheel covers (lol) so efficiency should improve even further once those arrive.
